On May 19, 2004, CHF held its annual Gala dinner at the Hilton New York, honoring Peter Dolan, Chairman and CEO of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company raising nearly $1.2 million. Mr. Dolan and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company have been generous partners for over 15 years, collaborating on programs like the Starting Right Initiative, a special health program that addresses weight-management problems for children and youth at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Hosted by Al Roker of NBC's Today, it was a remarkable evening, with special awards going to Co-Founder Paul Simon and long-time friend Art Garfunkel for their generous support. The evening ended with an extraordinary performance by Edie Brickell.
