
The Children's Health Fund is a rich source of information on a wide array of topics related to the health care needs of medically underserved children. The Fund engages in efforts as varied as descriptive analyses of health care needs and service provision, health services research, program evaluation, and development of health education materials. These educational, descriptive, research, and evaluation efforts help improve services, inform colleagues, and advocate for patients. Members of the CHF team disseminate findings to national professional meetings, issue-specific symposia and conferences, and peer-reviewed publications in the academic literature. By sharing and vetting work with academic, policy, and lay audiences, CHF contributes to the clinical and scientific discussion of child health and supports powerful advocacy messages on federal, state, and local levels.
